This Pine Tar Soap is just like your Grandpa used to make!
Nessmuk's Hunter's Soaps are hand made in small batches with traditional recipes to fit the needs of those who love the outdoors. This Soap is an unscented pine tar soap that is made with olive oil, coconut oil, pine tar, castor oil, spring water, and lye, that's it. No scents or colors are added, no garbage to irritate your skin, or the nose of the animals you are hunting. Just thick creamy lather.
If you have never used pine tar soap you are in for a treat, it has a naturally smokey pine smell, and it cleans tough dirt and grease off easily. This soap sat by the sink when I was a kid and it easily took of the sap from climbing trees, the muck from catching creatures in the pond, the soot and slag from playing on the forge, and evidence of every other trouble my brothers and I started while living at home. Works equally well as a shower bar, shaving soap (if you are into shaving...) and even seems to help reduce the problems with exposure to poison ivy, wild parsnip, etc, (although this hasn't been tested or proven by some gov agency, blah blah blah...)
